Visiting Lunuwilla Sambodhi Handicapped Home

July 11, 2010 - Lions Club of Colombo Maitland visited Lunuwilla Sambodhi Handicapped Home at 10.30am to spend a couple of hours accompanying and playing with the children. The project was conducted by Lion Yvonne Fernando and spouse Sudath. There are 78 handicapped in this home. Home is managed by a individual trustee board. They are managing the home with community support and donations from various voluntary organizations.

Lion Yvonne offered lunch for inmates. Also, our club donated 15 nos of mosquito net for the home. All Lions spent good time with them while dancing and singing songs. Members representing President Douglas Nijanthan, Secretary Lion Daniel, Lion Bharatha, Lion Pathmanathan, Lion Rajendran, Lion Chinthana, Lion Yatawara and Lion Quintius, Lion lady Manorani, Lion Lady Champika and Lion Lady Dushanthi Kapila and their families were present at the Home.
