Donation of School books and other essential item to Salvatorian Sisters, St.Micheal's Church at Ambapola

On 27th of Novermber 2009, another project was organized by Lions Club of Maitland, leaded by Project Chairperson Lion Meril Silva. The school books and several essential items worth of LKR 15,000 are donated to Salvation Sisters, St.Micheals's church, Ambapola. These items are delivered to poor farmer families in and around Ambapola.

The event was held in the presence of 1st Vice District Governor Deshabandu Lion Ananda Balasooriya MJF, JP to Mr. D.H.L..Alahakoon the president of the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Colombo Diosease who undertook to deliver donated items.
