| Celebration of Annual District Convention
The convention was held on 22nd and 23rd of May 2010 at the Waters Edge, Battharamulla. The Chief Guest at the Ceremonial Session was Lions International Director Shyam Malpani from Mumbai, India
More than 300 Lions, their ladies and Leos participated at the Ceremonial Session of the convention. There were a few invitees as well.
The Business Session was held at same venue on 23rd May and the Elections were held. Lion Ananda Balasuriya was elected the Governor for 2010-2011. The First Vice Governor and Second Vice Governor were also elected. Lion Vijitha Manamperi was the first Vice Governor and Lion Janarajan was the-Second Vice Governor. |
